The essays collected in this volume present multiple facets of how texts are read, exchanged and understood in the contemporary digital climate. As technological advances bring into being new book practices and open a wide range of previously unexplored textual itineraries, it is imperative that scholars adopt fresh critical tools to engage with these developments and the polymorphous works that result from them.
